The Pioneers Athletics Club (PAC) of Dominica is pleased to announce that three of its athletes participated in the RAN Invitational Meet in Martinique on May 23, 2026.
Representing PAC were:
🏃🏽♀️ Bertina Carrette
200m – 27.80 seconds
400m – 1:03.48
Competed as part of the Women’s 4x100m Relay
🏃🏽♂️ Curvin Leatham
1500m – 4:23.77 (Personal Best – PB)
🏃🏽♂️ Shakan Stedman
200m – 23.66 seconds
400m – 52.67 seconds (Season Best – SB)
The athletes were accompanied by Dr. Cedric Harris, Coach of the Pioneers Athletics Club, and Cleopatra Leatham, who served as Chaperone and Safeguarding Officer for the delegation.
PAC is particularly pleased with the performances of the athletes, including a Season Best by Shakan Stedman in the 400m and a Personal Best by Curvin Leatham in the 1500m. These achievements reflect the hard work, dedication, and commitment demonstrated by the athletes and coaching staff throughout the season.
Participation in international competitions such as the RAN Invitational provides invaluable experience and exposure, allowing our athletes to compete at a higher level while proudly showcasing Dominican talent on the regional stage.
The club extends sincere thanks to the athletes, parents, supporters, and sponsors whose encouragement and sacrifices continue to make these opportunities possible.
