The Pioneers Athletics Club proudly congratulates Sharifa Trocard on her outstanding academic and athletic achievements.

Although Sharifa joined the Pioneers family only a few months ago, she has already made a remarkable impact. In March 2026, she became a member of the club and proudly represented Dominica at the 53rd CARIFTA Games, demonstrating dedication, talent, and national pride.

Today, we celebrate another major milestone in her journey. Sharifa has graduated as the Valedictorian of Irvington High School’s Class of 2026, earning the distinction of being the school’s number one graduating student. Her achievements extend beyond the classroom, as she has also excelled on the track and earned a full athletic scholarship to Norfolk State University, where she will continue both her academic and athletic pursuits.

Sharifa’s story is one of hard work, perseverance, discipline, and excellence. She serves as an inspiration to young athletes throughout Dominica and the wider Caribbean, proving that success can be achieved both in sport and in education.
