Pioneers Athletics Club Shines at the DAA Inc. National Juvenile Championships 2026

11 Gold, 15 Silver and 8 Bronze Medals for Pioneers!



It was two days of pure talent, determination, sportsmanship, and outstanding performances as the DAA Inc. National Juvenile Championships 2026 came to a thrilling conclusion at Benjamins Park.

Pioneers Athletics Club proudly delivered another exceptional performance, with our young athletes combining to win an impressive 34 medals:

– 🥇 11 Gold
– 🥈 15 Silver
– 🥉 8 Bronze

Our champions produced several standout performances throughout the championships. Omally Moses dominated the U7 Boys division with victories in the 60m, 200m, and 60m Hurdles. Jaheem Nicholas captured gold in the U9 Boys 60m, 200m, and Long Jump, while Tashera Edmund sprinted to victory in the U9 Girls 60m.

In the older age groups, Devani Riviere claimed the U15 Boys 100m title, Nayan Prince struck gold in the U15 Girls 1000m, and Justice Edwards showcased his strength by winning both the Discus and Shot Put. Lucas Edmond also soared to victory with gold in the U11 Boys High Jump.

Beyond the medals, every Pioneers athlete demonstrated courage, discipline, and a commitment to giving their very best. Many athletes achieved personal bests, gained valuable championship experience, and proudly represented the values of our club.
