Pioneers Athletics Club opened the DAA Road Race Series in impressive fashion today, with strong performances across the Open and Under-15 categories.

In Race #1 of the three-race series, Pioneers athletes delivered several podium finishes, led by Curvin Leatham, who continued his dominant form with a comfortable overall victory.

Curvin crossed the line 1st overall, while fellow Pioneers athlete Raedian Felix produced an excellent performance to finish 2nd overall in the Open Category.

The Pioneers women also made their presence felt.

Akiesha Luke delivered a superb performance to finish as the 1st female overall, while Allysa Louisy added another podium finish for the club, placing 3rd among the females.

The club’s younger athletes were equally impressive. In the Under-15 Female 2km, Nayan Prince secured 1st overall, adding another victory to an outstanding day for Team Pioneers.
